I’ve been having the most wonderful time for the past week, returning to work with Bluelaces Theatre Company on a new immersive, sensory-based play for audiences with autism and other developmental differences called Muse.
Muse is a mythologically-based tale of adventure, unlikely heroes, and hope, particularly centering on a retelling of the Persephone myth. I’ll be playing Gwyn, the Persephone character who goes missing and leads the ensemble and audience on a journey through to ‘the End of the Line’. Full of silliness, heart, and original music, Muse is going to be a joy to bring to audiences at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City from October 18th-November 3rd.
If someone you love would be interested in being a part of our neurodiverse audience of 10 participants that we take through the story each performance, the ticket request link can be found here.
There will also be a couple of performances called ‘After Darks’, where friends and family of the cast can come participate in the show for an evening of laughter, reveling, and fundraising for Bluelaces’ incredible programming. Feel free to contact me for further details! xo
